Arnelious
Crenshaw, Jr. was baptized in Tulsa at the North
Peoria Street Church of Christ at the age of 15, under the
teaching of the late brother Lacy B. Mack. For some 15
years, his development was patiently directed and lovingly
supervised by the late brother A. C. Christman, Sr. In
addition to gaining practical and valuable experience in the
ministry under brother Christman, Arnelious received his
secular education by attending the University of Tulsa.
Brother Crenshaw developed a Paul-Timothy relationship with
the late brother Clyde Muse and furthered his formal Bible
training at Oklahoma Christian University of Science & Arts.
He served as minister of the 18th & Denison Church of Christ
in Muskogee, Oklahoma for a period of six years, during
which time that congregation experienced a sustained period
of growth.
Brother Crenshaw
presently serves as minister of the Northeast Church of
Christ in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, and has been there for
twenty-four years. Brother Crenshaw is committed to biblical
studies and textual preaching. He has been a speaker at
National and State Lectureships and has conducted meetings
in any number of states. He is married to Dollie, and they
have four children: Arlisa Crenshaw Long and Mechelle, both
graduates of Langston University, Jennifer Crenshaw Johnson,
a graduate of Pepperdine University and Arnelious, III; and
four grandchildren: Sydni, Anthony, Kori and Londyn.
