We love children at the Workshop!
We strive to provide a great experience for kids from Nursery
age through 5th grade!
1. When can I register?
Children's class and
Nursery registration will take place during the same hours on
Thursday as the adults, including the evening hours. Friday and
Saturday all registration will take place from 8:15 A.M. until 4
P.M. No children will be accepted after 4 P.M. as that ends the
day.

You can register your
child upstairs at the registration desk between Salons 6 & 7.

3. What hours can my child attend classes?
The Nursery for children
under 2 years of age will be available Thursday night 7:00-9:00
P.M., Friday 8:30 A.M. - 9:00 P.M. (with lunch and dinner
breaks), and Saturday 8:30 A.M. -5:00 P.M. (with lunch and
dinner breaks). Children ages 3 years through 5th grade will
attend classes between the hours of 8:30 A.M. - 11:45 A.M. and
then again from 1:15 P.M. - 5 P.M. This will allow parents to
drop their child off at 8:30 A.M. and have time to walk to the
first adult class at 8:45 A.M. Children must be picked up
promptly each time as this allows the Children's Class Staff
time to eat lunch and dinner as well.
4. How secure is my child while attending the Children's
Program?
We try to provide the
utmost security for the children's and parent's ease of mind.
Only authorized individuals with the parent's consent are
allowed to pick up any child during the time that he/she is in
the care of the Children's Program. Complete information as well
as procedures and Authorization Form will be included in your
Child Registration Packet.
5. Who will be caring for my child?
West Orange Church members
develop, administer and teach the Children's classes assisted by
area church members. You can feel secure that your child will be
cared for by responsible adults. All of our teachers are
currently Bible class teachers and many are school teachers as
well. They have a love for the children and have a desire to
serve and use their talents in this area at the Workshop.
6. What will my child be doing?
The children will be
involved in a learning program during this time. There will be
Bible lessons, applications, crafts, videos, and other fun
activities that will interest your child during the two day
classes.
7. Will there be a program at night for children?
Each night a program will
take place for children grades K-5 in Signature Room 1. There
will be a separate Registration for this, which will open at
7:30 P.M. Please make sure you pick up your children by 9:00
P.M.
8. Is there a cost for the Children's Program?
No.
